My reviews are from a somewhat shallow and superficial perspective. I’m not into deep, complex, and philosophical plots. I seek entertainment, not subliminal lessons in life. I’m not upset with gratuitous violence and sex and I don’t want to watch a movie three times just to understand what happened. Of course that often leaves me at odds with many viewers who like critically acclaimed and philosophical movies, but personally I can’t count the number of academy award winners that I thought were terrible.

My emphasis is on horror, science fiction, and the occasional fantasy. When those are your favorite genres, you resign yourself to watching a lot of really bad stuff before finding the odd winner. To that end I thought I would post some reviews of the movies I watch, reviews from a true fan who’s not a deep thinker. Who knows, they might just save you a wasted evening.
